The Manager, FP&A will be responsible for a wide range of Vivint planning, financial analysis and management reporting, including providing financial support to Vivint management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Support planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance management and reporting
* Help determine Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
* Develop Models for new business ideas, products, and channels
* Support monthly close process, and executing SOX controls
* Support continuous improvement initiatives surrounding data quality, and systems capability.
* Prepare variance and trend analysis, and provide proactive recommendations for addressing variances to budget
* Provide ad hoc analytics
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Detailed understanding of financial budgeting and forecasting concepts and modeling
* Experience with planning and analysis software tools (experience with Adaptive Planning software a plus)
* Solid understanding of GAAP and financial statements
* Strong critical thinking skills, with an ability to identify trends in financial data and develop creative solutions to address negative trends
* Ability to organize and analyze large datasets
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with senior management
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Experience in a company with multiple routes to market is a plus
* Experience supporting Product Management and Engineering is a plus
* Experience in a High Tech Company is a plus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* 5+ years of Financial Planning and Analysis experience, complex challenging environment
* Bachelor's Degree (Finance preferred), MBA a plus
* Accounting background a plus
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
