The FP&A team at Pluralsight is hiring a Director of Success to join their team. As a FP&A Director, you help drive strategic finance initiatives and transform the way we inform business decisions in supporting our customers. This person will work closely with the Go to Market FP&A team, the Success Strategy and Operations team, and Customer Success leadership including executive officers. Further, this person will continue to create and improve the financial modeling, planning, and forecasting used to support the Success business.
What you'll do:
Reporting and modeling of gross retention, renewal rates, ARR, professional services, and support key metrics
Reporting on spend to budget, forecasts, and other budget-related items
Detailed management of the Success org budget in our Anaplan planning/forecasting models
Components of our annual recurring revenue plan, forecast, and reporting (including models for both recurring and non-recurring revenue streams)
Board of Directors presentation slides that pertain to go-to-market
Ad-hoc modeling requests that come from Success Strategy and Operations and/or Customer Success leadership
Experience you'll bring:
Proficiency and prior experience with SaaS drivers and metrics preferred, but not required
Strong proficiency in MS Office/G Suite, and experience with Anaplan, Snowflake, NetSuite and Tableau is a plus, but not required
Experience with Snowflake, Anaplan, and Tableau or other similar software tools with transferable skills
Requirements:
Ability to operate independently and manage ambiguity in a fast-moving environment
Analytical mindset to draw insights from data, deep dive into operational drivers, and influence business decisions
Advanced level of proficiency developing financial models and consolidated forecasts, using both bottoms-up and top-down approaches, from scratch in MS Excel / G Suite
Proficiency in supporting Go To Market business units and organizations with financial modeling and budgeting
Excellent communication skills and experience creating board level and management ready presentations including a strong ability to work with and present to and support senior leadership
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or other analytics-related fields
Requires a minimum of 8 years of related or equivalent experience; or 6+ years and an advanced degree.
